Inspired by a love of sourdough, this bread knife is a simplified take on the classic bistro style, designed to slice cleanly without crushing. It works equally well on crusty loaves, soft bread, pastries and slippery tomatoes.
The straight top line, rounded tip and 28 scalloped serrations create a distinctive geometric edge. Sharpened to 15 degrees. The core steel is hardened to 62 HRC for lasting sharpness and durability, finished with a light sandblast and an engraved nomi logo. Patterns are unique and may differ slightly from visual representation.
The knife can be paired with a choice of handles, made from bio-resin containing vegetable scraps and secured with hexagonal screws. Like all nomi knives, it is assembled by hand in a small studio in Stockholm.

Care - Use a wooden or plastic cutting board, as hard surfaces like glass, marble or ceramic can damage the edge. Hand wash only with mild detergent and dry immediately with a soft cloth to prevent rust. Store safely in a knife block, protective drawer insert or magnetic strip, and avoid loose storage in drawers. Serrated knives require little sharpening and should not be honed. When needed, have the blade professionally sharpened to maintain its edge
